The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled defenseman Frank Corrado from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford.

Corrado, 24, is joining the Penguins for the third time this season. Earlier this year he played in three games for Pittsburgh, posting an even plus/minus while averaging 11:06 minutes per game.
The 6-foot, 205-pound Corrado has eight points (1G-7A) and a plus-6 in 19 AHL contests with WBS. His plus-6 ranks second on the team among defensemen.
Corrado has skated in 74 career NHL games with Vancouver, Toronto and Pittsburgh, producing three goals, five assists and eight points.
